Mistakes in the Return of the King: Lord of the Rings 3 that I find particulary amusing...
When Frodo is in the tower, the camera pans from his hips up. If you look closely at his pant line, you can see the rim of his underwear. You can even see Hanes written on it. (LMAO!)
When the Nazgul first swoop in on Minas Tirith, in the shot of them all swooping in one by one there are ten of them. There are only nine Nazgul. (Stupid math, eh?)
In the scene where the Witch King is choking Eowyn, saying "Die...", you can plainly see that Eowyn's thick helmet strap is securely underneath her chin. It is drawn tight. In the shot where she claims "I am no man." and whips off her helmet, the strap is miraculously missing. Not undone, missing. (Yah, well you know Eowyn...)
When Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are going to the Paths of the Dead, a wide shot reveals that the paths leading to it are too well trodden for a place that everyone avoids. (no comment...)
In the scene outside Edoras, Legolas says "The stars are veiled" to Aragorn. But in the shot as he says this, you can see the stars above. (lol...)
When Aragorn is singing at the end; in one shot his mouth is not open, but you can still hear his loud singing. (Wasn't it like thought-singing tho? ionno... -_-)
Faramir and the Riders of Gondor are riding down the paths of Minas Tirith to attack Osgiliath. In one of the shots of the people of Gondor, there is a little girl. This is the same girl that was listening to Bilbo's story in the first movie. (As if we didn't know)
In the scene where Gandalf rides out to the riders, retreating from Gondor to the safety Minas Tirith, to scare away the Nazgul you can see silver horseshoes on Shadowfax as they head back. Isn't Shadowfax supposed to be a wild horse? (Unfortunately so...)
In the scene where Frodo is tied up in Barad-Dur, his underwear has a straight hem, has words printed every so often along it, and is obviously machine made. In the next shots, Frodo is still tied up, but now his underwear looks more ragged and hand-made, with no writing. (Another comment about his underwear... You'd think they'd check out Legolas first)
When Sam leaves Frodo to the orcs, he is still up to his neck in the web. Yet later Sam tells Frodo he has the ring and all. How could he get it off of Frodo without ripping the web? (you wonder... they've done many things together *winks*)
